Three months after being fined €60,000 for false advertising, fashion retailer Canada Goose (winter jackets and coats) has been warned by the leading consumer protection association (C.C.A.) about product return policies.

According to Chinese social networks, the brand refused to refund a customer who had spent €1,600 after finding problems with product quality. The customer was told by the brand that all products sold by Chinese stores were strictly non-refundable, and social media built a negative message. Canada Goose denied, and said that all products sold in China were refundable in accordance with local law. The C.C.A. said : “If you consider yourself a big brand, behave in an arrogant and superior manner, adopt discriminatory policies and intimidate customers, you will definitely lose consumer confidence and be abandoned by the market.”
