Decathlon overdue in China

The world’s largest sporting goods retailer Decathlon reduced Chinese expansion by 50% in 2018. Sales volumes fell amidst an otherwise very dynamic Chinese sporting goods market. The Group opened 28 stores in 2018 (compared to 52 units one year earlier), ending the year with a total of 294 stores.
