If waiting lists for new tenants at several European centres are shrinking, this is not the case for the unmissable Plaza 66 centre in Shanghai (Puxi). In the second half of 2020, the total turnover of tenant retailers grew by 60%. “Our tenants, whose sales are up 50% in the second half of the year, are clearly booming”, billionaire businessman Ronnie Chan, Chairman of Hang Lung Properties, (owner of Plaza 66), told Women’s Wear Daily.
